AND our own DJ Irene will be there to get you up and out on the floor - so bring your dancin' shoes!

The gathering will be BYOB once again.  Of course there will be plenty of soda, juice and ice to enjoy or use to "mix it up" if you choose ;-)   Tasty culinary treats and the company of GREAT women are also included with your reservation!

Artist's History

Chic Lisitano is one of our very own who grew up in St. Louis, Missouri.

Playing blues & rock while touching on a variety of music, she has learned to please a diverse crowd of music listeners.

Originally meant to be a Demo CD, Chic released her first EP in 1997 due to the tremendous demand from her fans. Titled "Feel The Blue" it was created around her original Blues instrumental of the same name. In 1998 Chic released a mix of original and cover songs in a full length CD titled "Rewind". In 1999 a release of her first Acoustic music followed titled "Chic Unplugged". Listeners seemed to like the variety so on her next CD, titled "Drop The Shovel", she recorded part acoustic and part with a band in 2002. Chic also filmed two music videos in 2000. The first, "I Told You So", was shot in Clearwater, FL from her CD "Rewind". The second, "I Still Got The Blues For You" was filmed in St. Louis, MO.

STL Sessions -Featuring Melissa Neels and the Cole Adams Band
7pm -midnight @ Gramaphone

The Melissa Neels Band is the perfect blend of blues/rock, playing high energy blues, cover songs and original music written by Melissa. One of the only female lead guitarist in St. Louis, her style resembles Bonnie Raitt with whom she credits as her number one influence. Melissa plays with style, grace and intensity and bending the blues notes to make every note count. Her style is sure to impress!

arrive early to check out:

Cole Adams Band

The CAB was born in November of 2009. Jim and Cole had met years prior at a fast food job as teenagers and have been playing music together ever since. This “musical marriage”, as they refer to it, got serious about recording and performing a couple years ago and they soon found drummer, Mel, through a friend and bassist, Jordan, at Grove Fest. From there, CAB started to practice every wed night out in South County. They have now moved to what they like to call the Shamrock Shack in the outskirts of South City, St. Louis. Influenced by everything from the Beatles, to Muddy Waters, to The Old Crow Medicine Show, CAB has a wonderfully unique, infused sound that pleases all ages. Cole’s powerful and soulful voice combined with Jim’s amazing piano and fiddle skills – among other instruments - are backed by a solid percussion team in Mel and Jordan. They are a hidden jewel in The Lou and not to be missed!

And for an added treat be there to hear spoken word poet & author....

Taylored Poet was introduced to the St. Louis Poetry scene in 2002 at Legacy Books and Café. From that year on, she has made a name for herself performing on stages from California to New York. She released the well-received Shades of Gray Poetry CD in 2005 and has been working on her novel since then. Having hosted poetry open mic events in New York, South Carolina, and now in St. Louis, Taylored Poet is well known and respected amongst the national poetry community.
